Down with Art
Mungiki swarms to cut you down,
And many men uphold this,
A Cultural Revolution: Down
With anything that old is;
Or rather not quite old enough
In effort to revert
To some imagined fancy stuff
No matter who be hurt!
A counter-counter revolution!
Vague ideology
Assert the source of all pollution
To lie externally!
To justify the tearing down
Of what it took to build,
Fruit of one’s labor one doth own,
In anarchy fulfilled.
Accuse the teacher, or destroy
The landlord by machete,
And elevate the hoi polloi
In ticker-tape confetti--
When all is done, reconquest start,
The plunder by the dunders,
But in the process tear down art,
Bourgeois, elitist wonders!
