Gorsuch not only should resign,
He should apologize
On his party’s behalf, a twine
And comprehensive skein of lies
Binding the lot in their cahoots
Which not a party word refutes.
As soldiers that in lockstep march
So party discipline
Has made inflexible and starch
Their ruthless dogma, geared to “win,”
That nary a Republican
Not toe that line, to the last man.
By standards indefensible
Of ethics or of morals,
His sitting reprehensible
Yet he passed confirmations “orals”
By dumbly nodding his assent
To party aims deemed provident.
He knows upon which side the bread
Has got to take its butter;
Judge Gorsuch never loses head
Or lets a hint of conscience flutter
Him from an equanimity
The party paid for, A to Z.
