The Silver Fox Judge Gorsuch, held
A face immobile, affectless,
When he by Congress was compelled
To answer questions, no or yes.
Despite a lack of confidence,
A last-ditch effort changed the rules
Approving him—no innocence
Belongs to those “unwitting” tools,
Who marshalled up behind their man,
Senator Mitch McConnell as
They implemented his dark plan
To break propriety’s impasse.
Dark money put Judge Gorsuch in,
His jurisprudence bought and sold,
But angels dancing on a pin
Will not change clinkered shale to gold.
While Gorsuch sits upon the bench
The court stands utterly corrupt,
Though he himself feign innocence:
The change of culture came abrupt.
Save he resign (and even so)
A reputation thus impugned—
The court’s for justice—lingers low,
Nor time may fix what crime has ruined.
